  • how old were you?
  • how did you learn to do it? what resources did you use?
  • how long did it take you to learn?
  • was it easy or difficult for you? Why?
  • is it something you are now good at, or could still use more practice?
  • is it something you enjoy? why or why not?
  • would it have been easier to have someone show you?
  • have you passed on this knowledge to anyone else?
  • is this still knowledge or a skill that you use today?

THE ASSIGNMENT

Think about something that you have taught yourself to do. Describe it in detail. Use any of the guiding questions to add more detail to your personal account.

Remember, this doesnt all have to be done in one day. You have an entire week to write and journal!

Time management is important, you dont want to get overwhelmed! You can break it down into smaller pieces by answering one or two questions per day if you are feeling a time constraint.
