Personal History Writing Prompt: week 4

Week 4 is here already!

FINAL TOPIC IN JANUARY

January has focused on goals and achievements, and this week your topic is

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO LEARN FROM YOUR EXAMPLE OF MAKING AND ACHIEVING GOALS?

This is a tricky one.

TYPE A: Some people are REALLY good at making and attaining goals. They have the will power to do what needs to be done and make things happen. They are the kings and queens of kicking butt and taking names. Nothing can stop them r get in their way!

GOOD INTENTIONS: Others are good at making goals, but maybe not so great on the follow through. They have really great intentions, but sometimes things fall by the wayside. Life happens and hard times can come and stop you from truly achieving all that you want.

FREE SPIRIT: Perhaps you are anti-goal and don’t believe in tying yourself down . You live life in the here and now and see where life will take you.

Thought Provoking Questions:

  • what kind of a goal maker are you?
  • are you good, mediocre or bad at attaining your goals?
  • what could you do to be better at making and achieving goals?
  • if you could change something about your goals and achievements, what would it be?
  • Why is it important to you to set a good example to your family in this area?
  • What is your one major take way from this topic. (good or bad, this is introspection)
  • why is it important to acknowledge failure or success to your friends and family?
  • what is one achievement you are especially proud of?
  • what would you like your friends and family to know about your achievements?

Next week begins new topics for February!

We will be focusing on love, friendships and relationships.
